EXTERIOR CLADDING



Vertical timber scriber boards and a metal head flashing is required to the back door.

Poor deflector flashing detail, repairs are required to the crack in the cladding.

This fascia board penetrates through the exterior cladding. This is a poor detail.

The lead flashing captures and directs water onto the head of the stair entrance door. There are signs of water damage to the head of this door on the inside.

The front entry concrete paving has been poured up against the exterior cladding. This cladding is starting to rot. Current regulations sate that the paving should finish at a minimum of 150mm below the interior finished floor level. This detail will not comply with current regulations.

The boxed detail above the windows are reliant on sealant for water protection.

The gable end cladding sheet joins are reliant on sealant for water protection.
